**Starbucks Barista PT** ID **2620** Status **Part Time** Location **Silverton Casino Hotel** **General Summary of Job Duties**

* Ability to handle cash and multitask.

* Making handcrafted beverages to meet Starbucks standards.

* Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and body language.

* Requires prolonged standing and walking with full mobility (i.e. bending and reaching from a level height to 6 feet). Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds. Normal hearing, vision, hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity required.

* Ability to perform under stressful, demanding situations in perhaps small quarters of four feet or less, with four foot access and contact with Team Members and Guests.

* Ability to work in a smoking environment.

* Maintains an awareness of applicable laws and operates within those guidelines.

* Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

**Principle Responsibilities and Duties**

* Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.

* Check for proper identification.

* Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.

* Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.

* Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.

* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.

* Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.

* Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

* Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

* Other duties as assigned.

**Skills, Education & Other Requirements**

* Starbucks barista experience preferred

* Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred

* Mastrena espresso machine

* Starbucks brand coffee brewer

* Starbucks brand coffee grinder

* VitaMix blender

* Turbo Chef warming oven

* Micros POS system

The Starbucks Barista will contribute to the success of Starbucks and Silverton by providing legendary customer service to all guests and Team Members. They will create the Starbucks Experience for all Silverton guests by providing them with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store experience. Excellent customer service skills are required. Previous Barista experience preferred, preferably in a Starbucks location.
