Job Summary:
Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas by meeting established company standards to assure guest satisfaction.
Job Duties:

• Maintains the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience.
• Sets up cleaning carts with supplies, maintains carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Cleans fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways such as windows, doors, walls, etc.
• Cleans and sanitizes guest and public restrooms.
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities.
• Restocks room literature that has been removed, soiled or torn.
• Washes all hard floor areas.
• Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings.
• Strips beds of all linens and remakes bed with fresh linen.
• Cleans closet, wipes closet door, handle and overhead shelves.
• Restocks guest room supplies such as hangers, extra blankets and extra pillows.
• Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways.
• Inspects rooms to ensure everything is in working order, such as door and window locks, lights, television reports and plumbing.
• Notifies maintenance immediately of any itemneeding repair or of any unsecured, unsafe situation.
• Maintains a friendly, professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of basic cleaning equipment.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head, bending and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
