Include: Process weekly company payroll as part of payroll team Apply company payroll rules and make corrections to time billing sheets as required. Comprehensive knowledge of payroll rules for unique employee groups requiring understanding of general and specific processes for exempt, nonexempt and union employees. Process and prepare payroll tax forms for federal, state and local governmental entities. Understanding of State tax laws for state payroll tax withholding, residency and applying teleworking agreements. Understand quarterly (Form 941) reporting and filing and annually (Form W-2) processing and filing Answer employees payroll tax withholding questions and help with Form W-4 questions. Process various types of accounts payable invoices (purchase order invoices, vendor payment requests, subcontractor labor, etc.). Maintain adequate payment records. Reconcile vendor statements.
