The Position:

The Customer Experience Consultant manages the customer experience by proactively identifying issues, building strong relationships, and proposing solutions that benefit both Maersk and the customer.

Job Description:

  1. Be the primary contact for customers, ensuring smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle by working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
  2. Understand external factors impacting the customer's supply chain and their sense of urgency, service needs, drivers, and desires.
  3. Align with customer expectations upfront and respond with suggested solutions.
  4. Take full responsibility for customer satisfaction across Maersk's product offerings including Ocean, LCL, and Air Freight.
  5. Understand customers' business needs and recommend logistics solutions to meet those needs.
  6. Cross-sell and upsell logistics and services products, including Customs Clearance and final mile delivery.
  7. Manage vendor relationships and shipment order planning without physical cargo execution.
  8. Proactively track shipments and notify customers of relevant deviations and potential solutions or alternatives.
  9. Demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for customers with a focus on providing solutions.

Job Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of shipping, logistics, or supply chain industry preferred.
  2. Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
  3. Energetic, well-organized, and self-initiated.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Good process understanding and digital proficiency.
  6. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
  8. Strong cost-consciousness and optimization mindset.
  9. Experience in CW1 is an advantage or willingness to learn.
