Keeps building and premises including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean. Participates in cleaning and custodial activities such as mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors and furniture; washing windows; sanitizing and deodorizing fixtures, sweeping and cleaning walks; removing snow in accordance with District policy; and keeping the equipment and premises in a clean and orderly condition. Participates in building activities as necessary (e.g. fire drills, lockdowns, assemblies, etc.) Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns (e.g. facility damage, injured and ill students, unauthorized persons, alarms, etc.) taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety issues. Immediately reports any damage to school property, equipment malfunction and maintenance work needed to supervisor.
