Job Details

Sweeps, mops, scrubs and polishes floors. Vacuums carpets. Washes windows, polishes metal fixtures, cleans woodwork and sinks. Dusts or washes furniture or book shelves. Cleans corridors. Helps move furniture and other heavy objects. Gathers and disposes of garbage, trash, and waste. Sweeps and cleans walks and steps. Assists in snow removal in accordance with District policy. Scrubs, washes, and disinfects bathroom floors, and cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily. Maintains all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation. Packs and unloads books and other items. May assist in regulating heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and helps insure the economical use of fuel, water, and electricity. Maintains high standards of behavior and confidentiality.
