Job Summary:
The Welder role involves reading and interpreting blueprints & engineering plans and uses drawings along with other data, such as work plans, to calculate correct weld sequence to minimize or eliminate any warpage due to heat input. The Welder will layout, cut, fit, prep, tack, and weld components together to meet drawing specifications and requirements using the specified weld procedures dictated in the Fabrication, Inspection, and Test plan for each individual job. This role is responsible for ensuring completed components safely meet blueprint configurations and tolerances.
