POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking a versatile and collaborative BIM Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing Building Information Models (BIM) across architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems, ensuring seamless integration and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. This position ensures adherence to BIM standards and company policies, develops and modifies models and drawings, prepares construction documents, and coordinates with the internal team to meet project deliverables and deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop 3D models from design concepts or mark-ups provided by engineering or project management staff.
  • Work under the direction of the Architect/Engineers; and other team members as part of a coordinated design team to produce complex geometry, design layouts, detailed drawings, and other construction documents.
  • Modeling building structures using architectural models.
  • Coordinate and align structural models with architectural, MEP, and civil models to ensure design consistency and clash-free documentation.
  • Create, modify, and manage 3D models and 2D documentation to support design development and construction documentation.
  • Create detailed plans for building foundations and framing.
