Job Details

Prepares assistance to students with bahavioral issues as assigned under the supervision of a certified teacher. Works individually or with small groups of students to reinforce materials initially introduced by the teacher. Assists in drill work. Assists with adapted behavior curriculum. Assists small groups of students in library, computer, etc. Assists individual students in need of special attention. Assists in data collection of student's progress. Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up by the teacher. Assists teacher with non-instructional classroom duties. Helps adapt curriculum and supplementary materials for use in the classroom. Strives to improve and maintain job skills through inservice training programs and other means.
