Job Details

Prepare complex new drawings and perform drawing changes consistent with company and nationally recognized procedures and standards. This will include 2 D line work and 3 D modeling. Assist in the determination of drawing elements, i.e., dimensions, part/component selection, tolerance, and design and process parameters. Evaluate design input from project engineers while working with design engineers. Make required mathematical calculations (i.e., geometric, tolerance stack-up calculations). Work with design engineers to specify parts, assemblies, and installation. May contribute design modification ideas to improve the quality of the product or facilitate construction/fabrication. Provide field/as-built documentation support. Maintain a working knowledge of Creo, AutoCAD, Revit, and other modeling software. Occasionally collaborate with professionals outside of the home organization. Report progress appropriately to project and line management as required.
