The Role

Stukent is seeking a highly analytical and creative

Configuration Specialist to manage and execute the technical configuration of our first-in-the-world Simternships. In this role, you will serve as a key technical expert, consulting with content creators, portfolio directors, and engineering teams to ensure our simulations are technically robust, strategically aligned to learning objectives, and deliver an engaging student experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to directly influence innovative ed-tech products. What You'll Accomplish

* Design & Implement: Translate educational and business requirements into technical specifications; design and implement complex simulation logic and structure using JSON and other markup languages.

* Analyze & Resolve: Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex configuration issues identified during development, testing, and post-launch.

* Content & System Analysis: Analyze industry trends and educational standards to recommend and implement strategic updates to Simternship content and systems, ensuring their long-term relevance and accuracy.

* Cross-Functional Consultation: Serve as the primary technical configuration expert for product teams; advise Product Managers, Content Developers, and Engineers on feasibility, scope, and technical solutions.

* Algorithm Implementation & Optimization: Partner with the Director of Algorithms to consult on, implement, and refine scoring logic, exercising discretion to resolve algorithmic challenges and improve outcomes.

* Project Management: Exercise Independent judgment in managing configuration timelines and priorities to ensure project milestones and product release deadlines are met.

What You Bring to the Table

Required:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advise on business decisions.

* Demonstrated ability to work with structured data formats (JSON, YAML); an aptitude for GenAI tools to optimize technical workflows and enhance content strategy.

* Proactive and adaptable with strong organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree

* Experience in education, EdTech, or instructional design

* Professional or project-based experience in software implementation
