Job Title: FSQA Superintendent

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced FSQA Superintendent to lead food safety and quality assurance initiatives at the facility level. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and serving as the facility's primary point of contact for customer and GFSI audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's lead for customer and GFSI audits (SQF, BRC)
• Address customer concerns and regulatory issues promptly and escalate when necessary
• Proactively identify and resolve food safety and quality risks
• Conduct and maintain program validations
• Create and analyze program trending reports and provide actionable insights
• Engage with internal and external customers to ensure quality expectations are met
• Collaborate with third-party laboratories and oversee testing methodologies
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GHP, Sanitation, and Animal Welfare standards
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across food safety and quality programs

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plant experience
• Experience with GFSI audit schemes (e.g., SQF, BRC)
• Strong grasp of HACCP, GHP, Sanitation, Animal Welfare
• Ability to identify and address issues proactively
• Demonstrated leadership in audit preparation and execution
• Experience with testing methodologies and third-party laboratories
• Proven ability to engage with internal and external customers
• Analytical skills to interpret data and drive program improvements
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to support our diverse workforce.

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000
