Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Electronics Project Manager to work on our SMC Engineering & Product Design team. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Specific Manufacturing Capabilities (SMC) desert?site facility with every Friday off.
You will provide technical leadership to our product lines, skilled in electronic component manufacturing processes from production of printed wiring assemblies through electronic module assembly. Oversees and coordinates projects related to electronic systems and products. Responsible for the design, development, testing, and verification of electrical components and systems. Analyze engineering plans and projects to establish operating data and acceptance criteria. Identify opportunities for integration of technologies and techniques to advance technical capabilities to develop new, unique cutting?edge solutions. Interface with other organizations to communicate design specifications and address design and integration issues. Work may encompass a wide range of sophisticated (cross?discipline) engineering problem resolutions.
Responsibilities consists of project planning and execution, team coordination, budget and risk management, stakeholder communication, quality assurance, and documentation.
While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires the operation of job?related equipment and driving a vehicle. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with the public is required.
