Warranty & Repair Technician (Temporary Assignment)

Location: Rigby, ID

Pay: $18.66 - $21.53

Duration: November 1, 2025 April 2026

Overview: KLIM / Teton Outfitters is seeking a Warranty & Repair Technician for a temporary, full-time role running from November through April. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work history, solid computer skills, and an interest in design or understanding how products fit and function. The role combines hands-on inspection and repair work with warranty documentation. Experience with sewing or product assembly is a plus, and someone who enjoys snowmobiles or motorcycles may find this role especially rewarding. Spanish-speaking is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing warranty and repair items, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify and document KLIM products requiring warranty service or repair.
  • Inspect seams and products (such as boots and outerwear) to identify manufacturing issues or defects.
  • Perform light repair work, including testing for leakage and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Manage warranty documentation and correspondence using a computer system.
  • Communicate with customers via email regarding repairs and warranty claims.
  • Lift and move items up to 35 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills and organizational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Design aptitude or mechanical understanding of how products go together is highly valued.
  • Interest in snowmobiles or motorcycles a plus.
  • Spanish-speaking a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Temporary, full-time role from November through April.
  • Standard schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.
  • May occasionally require evening or weekend work with short notice.
  • Must maintain productivity and quality standards as set by the department.
