The Environmental Technician supports the Environmental Manager in conducting construction site inspections, field audits, environmental audits, etc. The Environmental Technician helps to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promotes safe working conditions. The role involves assessing and monitoring potential environmental hazards and implementing measures to minimize or eliminate those hazards. The Environmental Technician also educates co-workers on safe practices, procedures and implements programs to reduce the companys environmental impact and promotes the Company s IIF culture. S/he is expected to spend a minimum of 80% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers on proper environmental compliance.
