This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the sanitation shift.
Responsibilities include:
Managing plant personnel.
Responsible for following and upholding all safety policies and procedures established for the facility.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Prioritizes food quality and maintains food safety, through the vigilant application of company SSOPs, GMPs and the master sanitation schedule.
Understands chemical usage, chemical titration, and chemical safety.
Understands goals, yields, variances and calculations.
Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four to five years of progressive experience working with industrial food manufacturing equipment and chemical sanitation processes.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Operating knowledge of computers, desktop software, and business systems.
High School equivalency math skills.
Must possess knowledge in the area of safety; including OSHA and other applicable federal and state regulations.
Knowledgeable of food processing, HACCP, GMPs and sanitation preferred.
The pay range for this position is $70,386 - $98,541 per year.
