We are seeking a reliable, hard-working individual who takes pride in preparing food and working as a team in the food service. Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list daily. Labeling and stocking all ingredients and storing them in an orderly fashion. Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients accurately. Delivering baked goods to both internal and external customers. Maintain the premises of baking/prep area in a neat and hygienic manner. Maintain and sanitize cooking utensils, tools, implements and machinery. Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen. Strictly adhere to food safety laws and standards while preparing bakery products. Provide occasional assistance to customer service team. The position requires early morning arrival & weekend (both occasional Saturday & Sunday) availability. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Communication skills are indispensable, including the ability to retain information.
Qualifications and skills:
The work requires lifting (up to 30 lbs), pulling, standing, and fairly constant movement. The bakery is a warm working environment, especially during the summer months. Clean driving record is also a requirement.
