Job Details

Organizes and supervises election of cheerleading squad. Arranges and conducts all cheerleading practices. Prepares a team workout that fits both the team and individual needs. Makes contact with parents on a regular basis. Accompanies cheerleaders on all road trips to supervise and chaperone. Instructs and directs cheerleaders in crowd control methods. Attends all home contests for assigned sport. as stated in the District Policy Manual as applicable to cheerleading. Tends to injuries and uses preventative measures to avoid injuries. Maintains the cheerleading budget and purchases uniforms. Is responsible for the welfare and safety of all team members. Maintains a direct line of communication with administration. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Employed annually under the Middle School Cheerleader Coach stipend as per the Stipend Schedule in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. EVALUATION:Perf...Coach, Cheer, Education
