Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Modeling/ Simulation Professional to work in our Data Twin Frameworks department. Our team works a 9 x 80 schedule located out of our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off. The Digital Twin and Data Frameworks department leads research that advances state-of-the-art capabilities and approaches to digital threads and the integration and management of systems and data, enabling digital twin and similar technologies. The departments accomplishments include creating the first autonomous control digital twin for a non-nuclear microreactor and the first digital twin of a nuclear reactor, to leading large data repository efforts that support wide research communities. We apply computer science, digital engineering, and AI to develop and apply technologies that will reduce risk and cost while increasing the productivity and capability of organizations, facilities, and testbeds.
