Position Overview: As a Kiewit Superintendent, you will be responsible for a variety of field activities in order to execute the construction work on our projects. During your first few years you can expect to spend time learning and working on work plans, shop drawings, submittals, 5 week schedules, craft supervision, and project documentation. While learning & executing these things you will have the opportunity to travel the country building complex projects that make a profound impact on communities.

District Overview: Kiewit Southwest District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water projects. We operate primarily in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. Southwest's projects include a wide range of infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, runways, terminals, transit systems, power plants, water treatment facilities, dams, canals, wastewater treatment plants and tunnels.
Location: Home base for this position can be in Phoenix, Arizona, but this position will be traveling and working on projects in Idaho Falls, and/or Cascade, Idaho. Must be willing to travel where the work is located. You could be assigned to a project in Utah, TX, New Mexico and additional states as our projects begin to unfold in 2026.
