We are looking for a Video Editor & Social Media Virtual Assistant who can support the client's marketing efforts across Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels. Full‑time, AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in short‑form video editing, understands social media trends, and can also take on additional administrative or marketing support tasks. You'll work alongside an existing VA in the Philippines and collaborate with the client to streamline her workload by taking ownership of tasks she no longer needs to handle personally.Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Content ProductionEdit short‑form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and other platformsRepurpose long‑form content into reels, clips, and social snippetsAdd captions, transitions, graphics, and branding elementsMaintain consistent visual style and quality across all contentPrepare content for posting, including formatting and exportingSocial Media SupportSchedule and publish posts across social platformsAssist with basic content planning and idea generationOrganise and maintain a content libraryTrack engagement and flag opportunities or issuesUpload videos, write simple captions, and ensure timely postingGeneral Virtual Assistant TasksAssist with admin tasks related to marketing and operationsHelp coordinate projects and follow up on outstanding itemsSupport communication with service providers or team membersMaintain simple spreadsheets, trackers, or content calendarsProvide ad‑hoc support as needed to reduce client's workloadSkills RequiredStrong video editing skills (short‑form content especially)Experience with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similarUnderstanding of Instagram and TikTok trendsAbility to work independently and manage deadlinesStrong communication and organisational skillsNice to HaveExperience supporting coaches, consultants, or small businessesSocial media management experienceGraphic design basics (Canva, templates, thumbnails)Ability to take on additional VA responsibilities beyond editingWillingness to be mentored by a senior editorPersonal QualitiesProactive and resourcefulDetail‑oriented with strong follow‑throughComfortable working with minimal supervisionEager to learn and growReliable, consistent, and committed to quality#J-18808-Ljbffr
