OverviewOmega Technical Services is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to support advanced reactor system development at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), specifically within the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC).
INL is recognized as the lead national laboratory for DOE-NE, providing much of the nuclear research, development, and demonstration capability needed to move nuclear innovation forward to deployment. MFC works jointly with the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) to bring advanced micro reactors to INL.
This role will support design and system engineering efforts for advanced microreactor technologies, contributing to cutting-edge nuclear innovation initiatives. The I&C Engineer will apply engineering principles and best practices to design, develop, implement, and maintain instrumentation and control systems within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
