A&P Mobile Service Technician - Idaho Falls - 1st Shift

We are hiring immediately for a full-time A&P Mobile Service Team (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanic in our Outlying Service Centers. This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering up to a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus.

What you will be doing as an A & P Mobile Service Technician:

• Maintain and repair aircraft, diagnose mechanical issues, and coordinate with the crew and customers.
• Assist the lead mechanic, ensure customer satisfaction, and keep the service vehicle in top condition.
• Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems.
• Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems. Ensure compliance with FAR 43 documentation requirements while maintaining accurate written reports in logs and inspection documents.
• Order and obtain necessary parts for aircraft repairs, ensuring cores are returned per established procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, or specialized services comply with Quality Control procedures while monitoring the work environment and correcting unsafe acts.
• Work as part of a team to meet customer expectations, assisting mechanics and avionic technicians as needed.
• Inspect, maintain, and service equipment and tooling in the mobile service vehicle. Ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition, with proper fluid levels, tire pressures, and other necessary inspections and repairs.

What you need to be successful:

• High school education or GED required.
• A&P License is required.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145 is required.
• A minimum of 5 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
• Experience on Cessna, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority (if applicable).
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license and abide by Textron Fleet Vehicle handbook and AOA access requirements.
