Contact Center Agent, Full-Time

Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Contact Center Agent to work in our Rexburg Administration office, Monday - Thursday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, with Saturday hours as needed. This position will also be required to take the afterhours calls on a monthly rotational basis. The expected pay is $18.45 per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Assists members and potential members with their telephone requests; answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve; refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations. Will be required to take the afterhours calls on a monthly rotational basis.
• Handles basic maintenance of member accounts.
• Identifies and cross-services opportunities and services to members.
• Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
• Performs duties in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.
• Performs other duties as assigned, assists in other departments as needed, and works at or attends community events as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent communication skills & customer service skills.
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience required as well as a high school education or GED.

Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
