Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Echo Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Requirements: Education: Associates Degree or Vocational Degree Experience: 2 years of Echo Tech experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting Licensure: RCS RDCS Certifications: BLS Skill Set: Maintain a current registry or certification in Adult Echo Maintain a current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound Typical Procedures: The majority of the patients for this area are being treated for cardiac problem. The patients are undergoing testing using ultrasound. The patients can be of a high acuity. The patients can range from neonatal to geriatric. The exposure to body fluids and blood is always present.
