Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, load, and verify CNC programs (Vacam, Peddinghouse, Pronest, Piecemaker)Set up and operate CNC machines (Band saws, Beamline drills, Coping machines, Plasma table, Hydraulic ironworkers, Punching machines, Press brakes)Monitor cutting and processing operations to ensure quality and efficiencyPerform part inspections and verify dimensional accuracyAdjust machine settings and tooling to achieve industry standard toleranceAccurately track material information and perform basic data input for inventory trackingOperate safely within work areas by following all safety protocols, including proper handling of material and use of hand toolsMaintain an organized and clean working environmentIdentify abnormal machine behavior and escalate issues clearly and accuratelyCoordinate with team for production scheduling, processing, and organization of productionAccurately note and log production statuses for shift transfersGain Hands-On Exposure ToBasic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for material processing machinesAutomation logic and Lean manufacturing processesObserve and assist during OEM service visitsTroubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration activities led by senior staffRequired QualificationsProficiency in reading, measuring, and interpreting technical drawings for structural steel fabrication and assembly processesAbility to follow procedures and work safely in an industrial environmentBasic computer and touchscreen interface skillsWillingness to learn, ask questions, and grow technicallyReliable attendance and strong work ethicGeometry and manufacturing/fabrication mathematics (coordinates, angle calculation, trigonometry, fractions, multiplication, division)Why Join Our TeamStable, year-round workOpportunities to learn multiple machinesTeam-oriented shop environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.50 – $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week401(k)Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAt TRC Fabrication, we value skill, reliability, and professionalism.
