Warehouse Worker

Location: Idaho Falls, ID 83402 - 100% onsite Duration: 08 months contract Shift: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Working 6 days per week for first 2 months of assignment

Responsibilities

Job Purpose: The Warehouse Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, and stacking for accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet standards of safety, security, and productivity. This position must fill and/or relabel customer orders and deliver them to the staging area or location in a manner of completeness and correctness. Person must be able to troubleshoot and come up with resolutions for day-to-day activities in shipping.

• Performing defensive receiving of product including put-a-way.
• Perform Cycle Count/Recounts/Inventory Audits.
• Pick product from pick list for SAP order.
• Audit orders that have been picked.
• Perform bin cleaning and inspection.
• Repack product.
• Relabel product for inventory and orders.
• Audit product and paperwork that has been relabeled.
• Fill returnable bins.
• Work with drivers on special needs such as how to load trailer and re-arranging product already on trailer.
• Relocate Product in warehouse locations.
• In House transfers.
• Go through return area and audit product/relabel to put back into good stuck when required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or general equivalency diploma is required. Minimum of 1 year warehousing experience highly preferred. Able to work well with all departments, levels of management and peers. Must be able to drive a forklift and lift 56 lbs. by hand. Able to work well with all departments, levels of management and peers. The ability to handle multiple tasks is required. Computer literate, use of Microsoft Office, able to operate a calculator & perform mathematical function, operate telephone, fax machine, copier and computer printer. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential. The ability to operate a sweeper and scrubber.
