Warehouse Handler

The Warehouse Handler is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack products to ensure accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of goods. This position ensures customer orders are correctly filled and staged, supports product movement from production areas, and assists in day-to-day troubleshooting within the shipping department to maintain efficiency and safety standards.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in operating forklifts, yard hustlers, sweepers, and scrubbers.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs by hand.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities.
• Basic computer literacy; familiar with Microsoft Office, SAP, and general office equipment (fax, copier, printer).
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and all levels of management.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform defensive receiving and product put-away activities.
• Conduct cycle counts, recounts, and inventory audits.
• Pick and audit product orders based on SAP pick lists.
• Repack, relabel, and audit products to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform bin cleaning, inspections, and in-house transfers.
• Manage return areas, auditing and relabeling product for restocking when required.
• Assist drivers with loading trailers and rearranging product as needed.
• Move finished product from production areas to appropriate storage or staging areas using forklifts or yard hustlers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
