Duties

You will manage and administer personnel, physical, industrial and sensitive/classified information security programs.

You will monitor the operating effectiveness of internal security programs.

You will apply knowledge of security regulations and policies to ensure security protection of documents, and assist in obtaining legal access to data needed to accomplish assigned tasks.

You will initiate personnel security investigations with both Department of the Navy (DON) and Department of Energy (DOE) security offices.

You will assess existing requirements and determine unknowns in formulating security policies.

You will be responsible for the analysis and resolution of conventional and unconventional personnel security problems, questions, and situations such as fitness for duty and suitability for employment, and access to restricted information.
