High School Diploma preferred. Knowledge of business inventory control/workflow practices. Demonstrated experience and/or education in computer operations, including word processing, spreadsheet development, and database management. Ability to effectively manage a district-wide inventory system for over 20 locations. Ability to interpret and understand state regulations pertaining to purchasing. Ability to supervise warehouse employees. Ability to maintain cooperative relationships and effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to receive a forklift certification. Physically capable of performing assigned tasks. Valid Idaho Driver's License. Minimum of 5 years of previous experience preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Job Goals: To support the delivery of School District 91's written, taught, tested, and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement as tested with the Idaho Standards Achievement Test. To safeguard the district's investment in materials through efficient and effective warehousing practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To): Solicits quotes or bids for all inventories according to state statutes and district policy and maintains documents. Maintains a supply of consumable items in the warehouse. Assists shipping, receiving, and unloading trucks; checking in merchandise; matching purchase orders to bills of laden, rejecting damaged goods. Files requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to the designated location. Evaluates complaints received on equipment and supplies and takes appropriate action. Receives school orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. Maintains the warehouse in a neat and orderly manner. Supervises the warehouse courier. Delivers supplies and fills in for the warehouse courier as needed. Communicates with vendors and staff regarding the status of orders. Completes required paperwork. Assists with surplus sales. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Has regular and predictable attendance and must be flexible in hours worked.
Other Duties and Responsibilities: Performs all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting to 50 pounds and transporting packages up to 100 pounds with the use of a hand truck. Must be able to climb stairs with heavy packages.
Terms of Employment: This position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, 254 days per year. Monday through Friday is considered to be the normal workweek. Emergency conditions may arise which will require attention at any hour of the day or night. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 11 $23.92 OR $25.09 (with a bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience) per hour.
