This remote, flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $15 per hour.

What You'll Be Doing

n
• Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, responding to customer questions, and explaining program requirements
n
• Obtaining patient financial records and other required documentation, verifying insurance benefits, and reviewing patient records and established guidelines to determine eligibility for assistance programs
n
• Processing orders for specialty medications, including obtaining and documenting the required authorizations
n
• Handling all customer interactions with compassion and professionalism, including those with upset or frustrated callers
n
• Documenting and escalating complex adverse events or product quality complaints according to detailed client and program guidelines
n
• Ensuring compliance with established processes, procedures, and regulations concerning medication ordering, medication distribution, and communication protocols
n

About You

At least one year of experience in a call center customer service environment is preferred, and medical office, pharmacy, or non-clinical medical experience is very helpful. To be a successful Customer Service Representative for this client, it's also essential to have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively explain information to customers

• Great active listening skills, and the ability to ask probing questions as needed
n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
• Excellent attention to detail
n
• Computer proficiency to navigate multiple programs and databases while assisting customers
n
• The ability to consistently deliver compassionate, high-quality customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
n
• Effective de-escalation skills when handling difficult calls
n

Your Home Office Environment

Because NexRep Marketplace contractors perform services remotely and independently, you'll need a quiet, dedicated workspace, along with:

• Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)
n
• A PC with Windows 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time)
n
• At least 8GB of RAM, with at least 4GB available for use
n
• A processor capable of reliably running all required software and programs simultaneously
n
• Up-to-date antivirus software
n
• Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixels
n
• A USB noise-cancelling headset
n
• A webcam for your Certification experience
n
• A smart phone to facilitate dual-factor authentication
n

Where NexRep Contracts

NexRep contracts with people in 31 states. You are eligible to contract with NexRep if you reside in one of these states: AL, AK, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, or WY. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.

Flexible Schedule

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within the client's hours of operation.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.

Please note that this third-party client requires that each independent contractor services a minimum of 20 hours per week. If you'd prefer to service fewer than 20 hours per week as an independent contractor, you're free to pursue a different opportunity within the NexRep Marketplace.

Pay and Perks

This customer service opportunity pays independent contractors $15 per hour.

• Completing certification and servicing at least 10 hours in Week 1: $50
n
• Servicing at least 10 hours in Week 2: $50

• Servicing at least 30 hours per week in Weeks 3 and 4: $200
